Some bloggers do not participate in paid reviews and product inclusion because it can be misleading if you do not state that you are being paid for your testimonial or recommendation. If you feel as though reviewing products or recommending them to your readers without disclosing that you are being paid is dishonest, then the practice is not for you.
On the other hand, if you think the products you review are worthwhile and are worthy of mention in your blog, what better way to make money then sharing these products with your readers.
There are a few different websites that will connect you with companies that will pay you to include their product or service in your blog. The pay ranges per assignment and you may be required to write a few sentences about a specific product or a few paragraphs, or even a whole blog entry.
Generally your blog has to receive a good deal of traffic to get accepted by these websites, and depending on how much work you do for them payment can be slight or substantial. If you want to try your hand at reviewing products for payment, check out these sites :
1. Reviewme
This site is dedicated to connecting bloggers with companies who want reviews written. You submit your blog and if it is accepted, companies will request that you write a review for them depending on the content of your blog. Reviewme states that you get paid between $20 and $200 per review. Your blog does have to have a minimum number of readers to qualify but you can always resubmit if it does not meet the criteria the first time.
2. Pay Per Post
Pay Per Post is similar to Reviewme. You submit your blog for approval and when it is approved you can start reviewing products and websites in your blog for cash. Pay Per Post has a market place where you can pick which opportunities you want to write about and payment varies according to the assignment you choose.
3. Sponsored Reviews
This site lets you submit your blog and then pick from a listing of review opportunities or lets companies contact you directly and request a review. Payment varies by assignment.
4. Smorty
Smorty is all about providing your opinion in your blog about an available advertiser’s campaign. You may not be reviewing a product per say, but you will be giving your opinion. Your blog has to be indexed by Google, older than three months, and have at least two new posts per week.
Posting your opinion or review for advertisers is a good way to make cash from your blog. You should remember, however, that like affiliate marketing blatant attempts to advertise to readers does not usually work as well as naturally including a review or opinion in your blog.

Make Money With AdBrite and Linkworth
Direct advertising is the way popular sites make their money. So how can you take advantage of that? What you need to do is create a site that looks like it is popular but not do all the work required to make it actually popular.
A site’s popularity is measured through Page Rank and Alexa ranking. Page Rank is Google’s measure of how valuable your site is. Alexa ranking is a basic estimate of your traffic compared to other sites on the web.
So in order to get as many high paying ads as possible, you need to get a high PR (page rank) and get a low Alexa ranking.
Here is how you can profit from advertising.
Create a site with some funny videos, pictures and articles. You can get a free template many places.BTemplates
BlogTemplate4U
You need to find a great template! One of the most important things is to make the site look good. The site needs to look like a professionally made site that people will visit frequently.
Don’t just throw something up. Work to make it look well established. Especially since this is the only work, you will do.
Now that you have a great looking site, you need to “get” some traffic.
What you are going to do is buy 100,000 visitors to your site. This will generally cost about $25-$50. All you need is to get one ad and that will offset the cost of the traffic.
The 100,000 visitors will be delivered a little bit each day for a month. This means you should be getting about 3,000 visitors a day and each month you will be getting 100,000 visitors to your site.
You can buy traffic at :Digital Point Traffic Forum
Once you are getting 100,000 visitors a month, you should have a pretty good Alexa ranking. But here is the key. I have seen this method one or two places before and they fail to mention a very important piece.
Alexa ranking is based on the Alexa toolbar. Views really only count if the person who visits your site has the Alexa toolbar installed. The fake views you will be buying won’t have the toolbar installed. Granted you will have a decent ranking since you get 100,000 views a month. But this tip right here will increase your earnings and could increase them a whole lot.
You need to put an Alexa widget on your site, which is a little box that displays your current Alexa ranking. If you have the Alexa widget on your site, every view counts. Doing this will lower your Alexa ranking by 25%! You can get the code for an Alexa widget here
The lower your Alexa ranking, the higher people will pay for an ad on your site.
Getting a good page rank is almost optional but it makes your site look much better to have a PR of at least 2.
Luckily, there is an easy way to do it. Sign up for LinkMetro and submit your site.
On the front page, there are ten or so popular links that all have high PR. Offer to trade with all of them. Then go to your category and offer to trade links with sites that have a PR of at least 2.
You should have 20 or so sites with a decent PR linking back to you. This should give you a PR of at least 1 or 2 at the next page rank update,
Now your site is ready to start earning. Sign up for AdBrite and Linkworth.
AdBrite
AdBrite sells text and banner ads on your site. Banner ads are CPM. That means you are paid a flat rate for every thousand views. You are going to make 100 times whatever the CPM is because you get 100,000 views a month. That means if an advertiser is offering $2 for every thousand views, you will make $200 from that one ad.
Text ads pay a flat rate per month. However, you are going to use the banner ads from AdBrite and get some flat rate ads from Linkworth.
Linkworth
Linkworth sells text ads at a flat rate per month. You are going to sell 25 links at $20 each, which is $500 a month.
So log into Linkworth and go to the “my sites” tab. Then go to the “add a site” link.
You will have to give the standard stuff: Title, URL, Description, Category, Tags and Language. You will also have to give your sites monthly visits. Set this at 100k to 500k. There is also a space for extra information. If you have a page rank this is the place to put it. Just say “This site has a Page Rank of…”.
Leave “Additional Website Details” at the default settings. Then you move onto setting what ads you will offer and set your prices.
The only kind of ads you want to offer are “LinkAds”. So select “I want to offer LinkAds only”. It will then give you the option to set prices. Go to the bottom and set the site run price. Choose Custom Price and set it to $20.
Now when people buy an ad from you it will appear all over your site and people will pay $20 a month.
Make sure you don’t offer any of the other ad types on the page. Add your website and you’re ready to earn from Link Worth.
Time to setup Adbrite. Sign into Adbrite. Find the link to manage your ad zones. Click on the link that says, “create new zone”.
The first page will allow you to pick what kind of ads you want to run. In the top box, select the button for banner ads. Then unselect the check boxes for full-page ads and in text ads.
On the second page, you can set the ad specs. You don’t need to change any colors. You do need to pick the size of the ad.
This chart will show you where you show put your 10 ads for Adbrite as well as your Linkworth links.
You also need to change whether you want to auto-approve ads. You do not want them to auto approve ads because you don’t want any text ads, only CPM banner ads.
On the third page, you will again need to put in the basics about your site, such as title, URL, description, keywords, and category. Just put the same stuff you put for Linkworth.
The next page is called pricing options but all they will ask you is whether you use other advertising networks. Just say no and click next. They will give you an ad code. You need to put these where the diagram says.
Now you will have 10 ad spaces from Adbrite that should make you at least $100 each and 25 links from Linkworth making you around $20 each.
This means you will earn $1500 a month.
If you are getting tons of requests from Linkworth, try raising the price of your ads. Raise it to $30 or $35. This will earn you an extra $400 a month. Always pick the best paying banner ads from Adbrite and you will be earning tons of easy cash.

Creating a Popular Blog
![]()
If you want to make money through blogging, creating a popular blog is the key to success. If your blog receives very little traffic, you will not have much success monetizing it. No matter which method you use to make money from your blog, you will find the most success if you have a large readership. Because of this, making your blog popular and growing readership should be one of your primary concerns.
There are many ways to make your blog more popular. The first thing you should consider is who your audience is and who you are writing for. You should always write about something that interests you, and that will interest others. You may think that your new kitten is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but there are probably not very many other people who want to read a blog about it. It is best to find a niche audience that is large enough to support a wide readership but not to vague.
One of the great things about blogging is that you do not have to be a professional writer to have a popular blog. You do have to obey common grammatical rules and at least be able to put together coherent sentences, but you do not have to be a highly skilled writer.
Blog readers are looking for interesting, relevant topics to read, not the next work of Shakespeare. Make sure what you write is interesting, edgy, or even controversial. Popular blogs are never boring and add value to reader’s lives either through information or entertainment. Make sure your blog adds something of value to your reader’s life otherwise you will not develop a large fan base.
Making your blog popular is a lot like driving traffic to a website. You can use many of the same techniques to drive traffic to your blog. Finding places to link back to your blog is a good way to drive traffic. Social sites such as Myspace, Facebook, and You tube provide lots of opportunities for this. You can also use social book marking sites such as Reddit, StumbleUpon, and Digg to promote your blog. Blogging on a popular blog site such as Wordpress and Blogger are also good ways to make your blog more popular as these blogging sites help to bring in traffic for your blog.
Whether you blog on a blogging network or you have an independently hosted blog, you need to make sure your blog is designed well. It is true that content is king and if a blog has great content is may receive lots of traffic even though it is ugly, having a well designed blog that is not ugly or annoying will help to drive repeat traffic. You want your blog to look unique, but not too unique. Keep with internet formalities such as blue links and use large font for headings.
You should break your post up into small paragraphs each with a headline if possible as internet readers tend to scan the screen looking for relevant information rather than reading everything word for word. Make sure your colors do not contrast too harshly and that the text is easy to read. Using good design will make your blog aesthetically pleasing and make readers more likely to come back and remain on your page.
No matter where your blog is hosted, you should try to get it indexed by all the major search engines. Some forms of blog monetization require that your blog be indexed by search engines before they will allow you to participate in your program. The higher ranked your blog is, the more visitors you will receive and the more popular your blog will become.
All forms of monetization for your blog require readers to work successfully. Before you try to implement your monetization strategies, make sure your blog has enough readers to make your efforts work. If there is no one to click your ads, visit your affiliate sites, or read your reviews, you do not stand much of a chance of making money.
